Brand is named after Arnold Rudin, son of Russian exile Maurice who left Bolshevist Russia for Canada. Maurice worked two jobs and spent all evenings studying carpentry. Very soon he opened a furniture store. His son Arnold has just returned home after World war II and joined family business. Today A.Rudin is a large company headed by Arnold’s son and grandson – Ralph and Spencer Rodins respectively. Despite modern technical equipment of the factory many stages are still hand-made as a guarantee of the supreme quality. Timeless design is appreciated by prominent American artists: Roger Thomas, Jamie Drake, Jeff Andrews and Sue Firestone. A. Rudin furniture is considered to be a sign of a good taste in the best residences of New York and Los Angeles.
